Do I need prior painting experience?
Not much — if you’ve experimented a little with acrylics, you’ll be fine. Many beginners have taken the course with great results, and everything is taught step by step.
What materials will I need?
You’ll get a complete Materials Guide inside the course. I recommend professional-grade paints (like Golden or Liquitex) for the best results, but you can start simple and add supplies as you go. Module 2 covers materials in depth.
Do I have to use Golden or Liquitex paints?
Higher-quality paints can really help with vibrancy and translucency, but you don’t need to start with a full set. In Module 2, I explain where paint quality makes a big difference so you can decide what’s right for you. Depending on where you live, there may be other artist-quality brands available.
Will my paintings look exactly like yours?
No — and that’s the point! You’ll learn my layering process and techniques, but your results will reflect your own style and personality.
